15/06/10:The repaired gearbox has been returned and is ready to go into the car once the engine is finished.


14/06/10:We are currently re-building 1 of our race engines during the summer break.  A few new bits and pieces to ensure our reliability until the end of the season.

14/05/10: Updated championship table available here Championship. We are currently 4th due to our DNF however we do everything we can to get further up at the next race meeting.

09/05/10: New A1 lap record by Tadstar Racing. Link to official lap times. Link to video of us leading in race 1 and setting a new lap record.

09/05/10: After a good solid start to the season we had high hopes of continuing our success at the second meeting.  We made a great start by putting the car on pole with a time of 52.2 seconds with Garry Watson 2nd with 52.3 and Charlie Shaw 3rd with 52.5.  Race 1 started well with Peter leading the field setting fastest times until disaster on lap 5 when the gearbox let go in 4th gear, cracking a hole in the gearbox casing.  Unfortunately we had to retire but we did get some good news with us getting a championship point for setting fastest lap.  We also set a the lap record for class A1 with a 52.5 second race lap (link to smart timing lap records).  For race 2 we had to start at the back of the grid due to our DNF from race 1.  Peter launched the car from the back and had passed 4 cars before the first corner.  Peter had to push hard to catch the front running cars but had to be careful not to get caught up in any needless accidents.  We finished the race in 3rd position which is great result after the disaster in race 1.

01/02/10: As we gear up for the 2010 season its all hands on deck. There are many new things happening with the Fievo, yes its a secret and were just about ready to have the car tuned for the season. We have currently targeted a very special company who we believe would make an ideal partner for the coming and future seasons. Updates will be available on this if we can agree a deal.

04/10/09: After the last race meeting at Knockhill we had another good day. We qualified 3rd on the grid however in the first race we were shunted off the road from 2nd place and could only recover to 6th position. In race 2 we had a great start and managed 2 finish the race in 2nd place for grab some more championship points aswell as another podium place.

16/09/09: On the 18th we will sign a lease for our new purpose built race workshop. We are all very excited about the move and cannot wait to start building some more Tadstar cars..

06/09/09: Yeah we finally did it...we won a race....no wait 2 races!! What a day at Knockhill for team Tadstar. On pole for qualifying and winning the first race by just over 3 seconds. The second race was the first wet race weve ever had in this car so everyone was nervous. Starting from the front we had a 3 second lead by the end of lap 1 and went on to win with a 22.7 second advantage. A wet and windy day finished with 2 trophies and 52 points towards our championship total!
